The Makita 6″ SJS™ High-Power Cut-Off/Angle Grinder, Slide Switch, Variable Speed (9566CVR) features a Powerful 13.0 AMP motor with a 5-stage variable speed dial that delivers 4,000 – 9,000 RPM featuring SJS™ mechanical clutch, advanced drive system, with constant speed control and anti-restart protection.

The 9566CVR features an SJS™ mechanical clutch, which is an advanced drive system that delivers smooth, balanced grinding and protects the motor and gears by disengaging if the wheel binds.

The 6” Grinder features constant speed control that automatically applies additional power to the motor to maintain speed under load. It features a slide-style switch that allows the user to engage lock-on for continuous operation.

The 9566CVR features soft start, which suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and longer gear life. It also features an electronic current limiter that helps protect the motor from overload. For dust and debris protection, the 6” Grinder features labyrinth construction seals for longer tool life.

The 6” Grinder features spiral bevel gears for smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. It also features a two-position adjustable side handle for operator convenience.
