With lower noise and zero emissions, the 18V LXT® Brushless Blower / Vacuum Mulcher Kit with 4.0Ah battery (XBU07SM1) is a welcome solution for clean-up applications. The commercial design allows the blower to tackle demanding applications, comparable to gas blowers. The Brushless Blower / Vacuum Mulcher easily converts from blower to vacuum and mulcher.

The Makita-built brushless motor delivers speeds up to 143 MPH and up to 148 CFM. The brushless motor delivers up to 215 CFM and 13″ water lift of suction power. Makita’s efficient Brushless Motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use for up to 50% longer run time per battery charge than similar non-brushless tools. Electronic controls efficiently use battery energy to match the changing demands of the application for increased power and speed when needed. Makita’s Brushless Motors run cooler and more efficiently for longer life.

The Brushless Blower / Vacuum Mulcher features a cruise control lever providing management of power and run time. The power switch can be locked on for continuous operation. It features a durable metal impeller shredding blade that cuts leaves into fine mulch.

The XBU07SM1 features a sound pressure rating of only 62 dB(A); measured per ANSI B 175.2 standard. The collection bag holds up to 6.6 gallons of leaves. The precision suction power aids in fallen leaf cleanup without altering stone and rock settings in plant beds. It also features removable wheels for better maneuverability in a variety of terrain.

The XBU07SM1 features Makita® Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™). XPT™ is a protective seal inside the tool and is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components.
